Harley's Old Thyme Cafe

We are currently still sitting here but the food, price, and portion are great we had to write a review before this amazing food put us into a food-coma. Staff is extremely hospitable, kind, and helpful! Will recommend to anyone and will definitely return!

We have eaten at Harley's for several years, ? why? . Simply the best breakfasts, best price, best service, friendly staff. Their breakfast is not anywhere similar to the "fast food" dine and dash establishments, they use fresh ingredients, individually cooked to your choosing. For us there is no other choice.....

The Harley Skillet is probably the best breakfast item I have ever had!

Can't believe I hadn't been here before. Quite the lovely hole in the wall kind of place, almost drove by it. Seriously some of the best breakfast I've had in a bit. Everything came out super fast and delicious. Service was wonderful. Thank you! Highly recommend.AGAIN: Always a favorite pick for breakfast food. You seriously cannot go wrong with their skillets. The staff is always happy and the food always makes me full. Thank you guys!

I love this cafe for breakfast. Their coffee is delicious and served in cute mugs which are available for purchase. They have various hashes, classics, and sides to choose from. Their pancakes are great! I haven't been disappointed in any of their dishes yet. They also serve their meals with a slice of watermelon.

Great food! Burger was huge and delicious. Price of the food is very acceptable.

We went for breakfast on a weekday. They have a huge and somewhat creative breakfast menu, but also all the traditionals. Service wasn't the fastest but it was sufficient. The food was very good, with huge-sized proportions. The prices had seemed a speck high, but then I saw the proportions so it seemed more reasonable. The furniture has seen better days. But it was truly tasty food so I do recommend this place for breakfast.

The breakfast offerings are extensive and look well prepared and well presented... looking at what others ordered at tables around me let me know that the kitchen takes pride in both the appearance and the taste of their dishes. The menu presents you with some surprising options for a restaurant of this size and begs further exploration during future visits... I don't believe I have seen a restaurant in Anchorage that offers you the ability to "add Catfish" to your meal! The only comment I will give them that even close to a negative is that the booths and carpet appear to have needed a revamp last decade... but, no need to drop a star for that.

Service was good. I had their signature dish, which is beef brisket. It was old and dry. Everyone else's plate looked pretty good. Maybe it was an off day.

We love this place! Visited anchorage for a week and came here twice for breakfast. The sizes are great, coffee is amazing, and the food was so delicious. The guys that work there are super friendly and really make sure you get good service. I highly recommend this place and was so curious as to why it wasn’t packed. It was great!

Excellent food and price. Had the Loco Moco and loved it. You get a massive amount of food so come hungry.

Got food here with couple of people. Loved the cup they had so I decided to buy one for myself. Luckily they got several for sale in different colors.

The seats are uncomfortable because of the old tyme feel... I guess. The food was good.

Our normal Sunday breakfast spot (Sunrise Pancake House) was closed for 3 weeks, So we decided to try breakfast at Harley's and we now have our sunday breakfast there instead...It's a little "hole in the wall" but the breakfast is great! You also get a free Harleycake with your sunday breakfast. Family oriented (I have a family of 5). Staff are friendly and there is a very comforting feeling. I always order the Big Momma's Big Pancake Sandwich. Oh so ono (delicious in hawaiian). I was also suprised to see that there were a couple Hawaiian dishes on the menu. Lunch also looks great but we haven't ate there for lunch yet.
